           Practitioners of Musick John Burkhalter, recorders, and Gavin Black, harpsichordist, will present a brief program of Music from the Age of William and Mary.in the Princeton University Chapel. The lunchtime program begins promptly at 12:30 and ends at 1:00 PM. Works by the following composers to be heard: Purcell, John Blow, William Croft, and others. The program is part of an on-going series of free afternoon concerts sponsored by the University’s Department of Chapel Music.

John Burkhalter, independent scholar and artistic director of  The Practitioners of Musick in association with Nicholas Lockey  graduate student in musicology at Princeton  University will present "Convergence of Cultures" Moctezuma  ~The Story and Legend in Baroque Opera" a lecture illustrated with musical examples.   The program sponsored by the Princeton Friends of Opera will take place at the  Erdman Center, 20 Library Place, on the campus of Princeton Theological Seminary. Practitioners of Musick, John Burkhalter, recorders  and  harpsichordist Donovan Klotzbeacher , will offer a program entitled "Mr. Handel at Home" in conjunction with the 2010 Princeton Festival performance of George Frideric Handel's opera Ariodante.  The 8 pm. lecture performance featuring  "chamber airs" from Ariodante and other theatrical productions will take place at "Stonebridge" in Skillman, New Jersey.  For further information please visit: www.princetonfestival.org or call 609-537-0071.

Under the auspices of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, Practitioners of Musick John Burkhalter and Donovan Klotzbeacher perform "Musick as heard in 18th-century Dublin".  The concert with commentary commencing at 8:30 is co-presented by the Woman's Club of Pitman and will be held at the Church of Good Shepherd Parish Hall located at 315 Highland Terrace, Pitman, New Jersey.  For further information regarding this event please call: 856-256-9515.
